There are so many natural disasters which harm our environment specially all the human beings who involved in this environment. Natural disasters harms the society. Some of natural disasters are earthquake,cyclones, tsunami, floods, eruption, landslides, volcanic and avalanches. These are the most common example of natural disasters.
Disasters Level
All the disasters are divided into three sub types:
Large scale disasters:
Normally large scale disasters covers the area more than 1000 kilometres. These types of disasters damage in a very large amount to our environment. It is very risky that sometimes these types of disasters can harm whole the country.
Medium Scale Disasters:
Medium scale disasters cover the area minimum 100 kilometres to 500 kilometres to damage. These cause a quiet small damage than a large scale disaster. Sometimes it is possible to damage if they occur in colonial states.
Small Scale Disasters:
Small scale disasters are those disasters that extend from 50 kilometres to 100 kilometres. So these types of disasters does not cause as much as large and media scale disasters.
Types of Disasters
- Tsunami
Tsunami is the production of a very high waves in seas and oceans. The displacement of the ground or land causes these high waves. A tsunami can cause floods if it occurs near the shores of ocean. The tsunami can consist of several waves. These waves contain a very high current. The main threat of the tsunami is if a person sees a tsunami in near the shores, he cannot outrun it.
- Landslides
Landslides are the moving of big boulders of rocks, stones, land or debris down a slope. As a result, normally landslides occur on the hilly and mountains areas. landslides can cause destruction for all the man-made things in many ways. Landslides are too dangerous.
- Earthquake
An earthquake is the vibrating and shaking of the earth. An earthquake can range in a big sizes. As the results, some are too weak that they go unnoticed. But some are too strong or dangerous that they can even destroy the whole nearby city or village. Earthquakes can cause disruption of the ground level. The can also cause avalanches, landslides, and tsunami. The center of the earthquake falls mostly on offshors.
How to Prevent from Natural Disasters
During these time try to live on ground because high building have chances to fall. And it is mostly see in the ocean area and nearby see area. So do not leave on a very high building. But now a days all engineers are making building according to see these natural disasters.
